Custom Vector Design and Subcloning

Applied Viromics offers a wide range of custom molecular biology and subcloning services.

Our services include but not limited to

  • Cloning the Gene of interest (GOI) into any commercial and customer specified vectors.
  • Cloning the Gene of Interest into Applied Viromics’ in house viral shuttle vector for the purpose of viral vector generation
  • N-terminal and C-terminal tagging
  • SiRNA expression vector design and construction
  • Cre-loxP expression system design and construction
  • IRES or 2A multi-gene expression vectors design and construction
  • Custom recombinant vectors design and construction

Starting Material

  • Customer needs to provide the complete sequence or map of the gene of interest and the destination vector.
  • 2ug to 10ug of starting DNA material.

Deliverables

  • 2 to 4ug of completed vectors containing the gene of interest.
  • Restriction digestion gel analysis to confirm the accuracy of the cloning.
  • Electronic vector map.

The price and timeline depends on complexity of the subcloning project. Please call for quotation. The timeline for subcloning generally is about 2 weeks.
